Mareena Weston has the kind of personality and career background every real estate seller is looking for — enthusiasm, drive, a vibrant nature, excellent work ethic, strong network, a diploma in Digital Marketing and a successful career in both sales and marketing.
Her hands-on marketing and public relations career, developed over 16 years, has covered state, national and international promotions and events, conferences, corporate forums, marketing campaigns, business growth plans and public relations. All of which means she knows how to ensure her client’s objectives are met.
Mareena’s strengths are in managing, understanding and “reading” people, underpinning the core of her success in the field of marketing and why she is well prepared to conquer the property world.
In terms of sales, during the early stages of her career she worked in London as a travel agent and frequently won their top salesperson; at Paydirt Media she doubled the revenue and attendance at several events in the first year of her employment; and one of her clients, Sweet Creations, increased their Facebook followers from 3,000 to 45,000 as a result of her marketing strategies.
Before entering the world of real estate, she was running her own marketing and communications company Emegen, which was dedicated to driving strategic growth for small businesses.
During this time she grew to understand the importance of digital marketing and the opportunities the online world can bring so, to add to her Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Curtin University, she undertook a diploma in Digital Marketing.
However, an enduring passion for real estate was always biting at her heels and has been a natural transition for her to move into, combining both her natural way with people and ability to market and sell.
Having secured her Real Estate Institute of WA registration, Mareena joined the successful Space Real Estate group (who were awarded the Number 1 Agency in WA by Value Sold in August 2017) and locked in her first listing within her first four days of working in property.
